ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Glycolic Acid

Glycolic acids are used to:

1. Accelerate light exfoliation of dead skin cells
2. Provide a cleaner, more uniform skin surface
3. Increase collagen turnover
4. Increase the skin's water content

Retinova

Vitamin A (tretinoin) is used for the skin to:

1. Enhance the effects of glycolic acid
2. Stimulate the production and regeneration of new skin cells
3. Improve the appearance of solar (sun) damaged skin
4. Improve the appearance of fine wrinkles

Hydroquinone

Hydroquinone (HQ) is used for the skin to:

1. Act on the pigment cells of the skin i.e. the melanocytes.
2. Even and decrease the skin's colour irregularities
3. Help prevent the possible effects of increased pigmentation changes

Hydrocortisone

Hydrocortisone may be used to:

1. Act as an anti-inflammatory agent to help soothe the possible irritating or inflammatory effects of glycolic acid, retinova and hydroquinone.

Additional Creams

Moisturisation is an integral part of pre- and post-treatment of dry skin.

Sunblock protection and its importance cannot be overstressed and should be used daily.
